[YG Entertainment] BLACKPINK continues to make K-Pop history with 'BOOMBAYAH'. They are the first and only K-Pop group to have two music videos with over 800 million views, making history once again.
On February 24 at approximately 9:04 a.m. KST, BLACKPINK’s music video for 'BOOMBAYAH' surpassed 800 million views on YouTube—making it the first K-pop debut music video in history to achieve the feat. With 'DDU-DU DDU-DU', BLACKPINK became the only K-pop group with a music video with more than 1 billion YouTube views.
In addition, 'KILL THIS LOVE' and 'As If It's Your Last' have surpassed 700 million views and are rapidly on their way to reaching 800 million views.
BLACKPINK continue to break their own first and highest records on YouTube, demonstrating their global impact. Back in 2018, the group received the 'Diamond Creator Award' for being the first K-pop group to gain 10 million subscribers on YouTube. Currently, BLACKPINK is the most-subscribed group on YouTube with 33.4 million subscribers.
After successfully completing a world tour, BLACKPINK is working hard on their new album.
